Wraparound and Parent Aide

Many families in Clark County experience chronic social, medical, and/or emotional difficulties which, if not successfully addressed, could lead to serious family breakdown.

Wraparound programs offer a wide range of supportive services to help families become more self-sufficient and better prepared to meet their child's needs. Wraparound therapy is family centered and builds upon identified strengths within the family. Support Service staff operate as part of the Wraparound Treatment Team, coordinating support services with other treatment providers.

The Clark County Wraparound Program, which is administered and operated by Oesterlen, is a county-wide cooperative effort of Clark County Children's Services, the Juvenile Court, Mental Health Services, and the county Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities program.

Oesterlen serves as a contract agency of the Clark County Department of Job and Family Services for administering the department's Parent Aide Program. Services are rendered to families as selected by the department.
